We have been so busy since we have come back to school for the 2nd term of P1/2. Have a look at our pictures to get a quick snapshot at some of the things we have been getting up to and learning.
In literacy we have been continuing with Jolly Classroom, consolidating our sounds, and learning to blend and read. In P2 we have been working hard on learning our spellings and following the Jolly Grammar scheme. We are super workers.
In numeracy we have been exploring addition and subtraction, patterns, and fractions using the Busy Ants Maths Programme. We are really clever cookies!
Our new topic this term is ‘In the Toy Box.’ We are exploring properties of materials that might be used to make toys, and have been talking lots about our favourite toys and why. We will continue to explore this topic over the next number of weeks.
