To celebrate World Maths Day, Mrs McAteer’s P5 pupils measured the area and the perimeter of the soft play tiles in the playground. They estimated the length of the tiles. They then took accurate measures of the length, area and perimeter using trundle wheels, metre sticks and tape measures. The children then drew the tiles to scale in their maths book and completed the relevant written Numeracy work. Well done Primary 5! 👏
