This form explains the reasons why and how Edendork Primary School may pass information which involves processing personal data under data protection laws.
To enable us to comply with our obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation, we are required to obtain express consent for the use of your/your child’s personal information eg reception of the sacraments, Parents Support Group requiring contact details. Without your consent we will not give out any general information which is sought.
Edendork P.S. also uses the School Facebook page and the school Website to promote events that are taking place at school, for example, the Parents Support Group Fun Day. The children’s full names will not be shared through this medium. Our primary aim is to inform you of the events that are taking place during the school year and, if you wish to participate in them, how you can do so and to what benefit.
Parents/legal guardians of pupils under the age of 13 or pupils over the age of 13 and not considered capable of giving their own consent should complete this form on behalf of the pupil.
This consent form is valid for the academic year 2020 to 2021. It will be updated on an annual basis. Consent will also be refreshed where any changes to circumstances occur – this can include, but is not limited to, the following:
